Pyrography - Drawing into the Surface

I'm becoming a pyromaniac! Pyrography is a little bit like tattooing or branding. Getting deep into/under the surface. Surfing is all about playing with, or drawing lines into, the surface and so is drawing. I like wood as a ground and heat as the medium. Drawing with heat. But it's usually a bit of a nerdy hobbyists craft I guess - better avoid the cattle skulls and country and western graphics. The new banner for this blog was just freehand drawn this morning.
